I AM Poem
I am the loud one. I'm also odd and make no sense.
I wonder how music can make you feel like you're invincible no matter what mood you're or what you're going through.
I hear the sound of toms, snares and kick drums as I fall into a bed of music notes and screams.
I see stage lights and distorted faces through closed eyes. A whole new world. A whole new sound.
I want an odd future. The oddest of the odd.
I am the loud one. I'm also odd and make no sense.
I pretend to be a British drummer who's finally made it to the top.
I feel as if no matter what I go through, Vic Firth and Truth are always there.
I touch the hands of screaming, zombified fans. I touch their souls.
I worry that I won't be good enough to please everyone.
I cry when angels deserve to die.
I am the loud one. I'm also odd and make no sense.
I understand that life gets a bit hard, but we all get through it.
I say that if my dreams don't scare me, then they aren't big enough.
I dream about running away to LA someday to become something more than what I already am.
I try to make it better as I go.
I hope that one day I'll be on tour along side Walk The Moon, Foals, Imagine Dragons and Two Door Cinema Club.
I am the loud one. I'm also odd and make no sense.
Thank You, Madison Square! Goodnight!

Hey, There's A Dead Guy Out Front!
"No one cares unless you're pretty or dying." - Unknown.
So, it might be true that no one cares unless you're pretty or dying, but take a moment to realize that even though not many care, there are still hundreds, even thousands, who do.
That's how it is these days. Unless you're some A list move star, have a song on the radio, insanely gorgeous, or about to die from some flesh eating disease, no one really cares. Society can be cruel and everyone knows that, but there are still a few good people. Take the good ole folks from "The Handsomest Drowned Man In The World." for instance. Despite the fact that some random dead guy washed up on the beach, they still took him in. They cleaned him up, made him new clothes and even gave the man a funeral! How many people today do you think would do that? Absolutely none! Ziltch! Cero! Actually, I wouldn't blame them for not giving the man a funeral. It's 2012 and I'm sure this is set a long time ago, but you get the idea.
Imagine you live in a beach house. It's a nice summer's day and you're just out hanging with your friends. As you walk along the beach, you notice this figure floating towards the shore. At first you start to panic because you think it's an enemy ship coming to invade your country. As the figure gets closer, you notice it has hair, and arms, even legs. It's gray and stiff. It's a dead body. What do you and your friends do? You poke the man and bury him. Kids. By now, someone has noticed you all playing with the dead body and comes down to take a look. She shoos you away and tells you to go get help. Everyone in the small town comes down to see the dead man. As the day progresses, the men have gone off to see where the man is from and the women clean up the dead body. You sit and watch them do this and you think to yourself that if it were you, you probably would of just let the dead man be.So, it might be true that no one cares unless you're pretty or dying, but take a moment to realize that even though not many care, there are still hundreds, even thousands, who do.
